The range is named after the river Orlice, which flows along the Czech-Polish border. It offers the ski areas of Deštné v Orlických horách and Říčky v Orlických horách and the popular Masaryk chalet on Šerlich; the Jirásek trail follows the main ridge. Skiing is possible at Čenkovice, Říčky and Deštné v Orlických horách.
