Bohemian-Moravian Highlands (Vysočina) – accommodation, skiing and holidays
The Bohemian-Moravian Highlands (Vysočina) are a gently rolling and very extensive upland in the southern part of the Bohemian Massif, spreading on both sides of the historical border between Bohemia and Moravia across practically the whole Vysočina region. The Jihlava Hills are the highest (Javořice, 837 m), but far less popular than the Žďár Hills (Devět skal, 836 m). The highlands offer ideal conditions for cycling, hiking, cross-country skiing, family holidays and relaxation.
